Join us for a fun night of learning how to tie your own flies! Learn how to tie your own flies in this informative, hands-on two-hour session at the Museum. Learn what equipment you need to get started in this unique and valuable hobby and make your own flies to take home. All materials will be provided. However, if you have your own equipment feel free to bring it. Walk away with a couple flies and a new case to house them. Be sure to check out Fly Fishing 101 this spring! This program is for adults and children 12+. *Participants will meet at the Museum at Van Hoosen Farm. Please arrive on time as program content starts promptly. As a courtesy to wildlife and other participants, please leave your pets at home. Content such as changes/maps will be sent via email leading up to the program. Pre-registration is required. The City of Rochester Hill’s Parks & Natural Resources Department, through their Outdoor Engagement unit, holds multiple programs for individuals and families throughout the year that highlight the many natural offerings available.
