Description

Wildlife tracks and scat to help I.D species, dichotomous keys, storytelling, and plaster casts! Take back a class set of track cards. Let’s take a good look at wildlife tracks and scat and see how you can use student observations to talk about patterns, form and function and the mystery of ‘who left this behind?’ Also, explore how tracks can be used to create dichotomous keys and see how tracks can also challenge suppositions and be used in storytelling and creative writing. Join us around the campfire as we make plaster casts of tracks and find out how to check out the kits to use in your classroom. Take home classroom sets of track cards for your students and make a wildlife trackway.
