CHALFONT, PA — A Chalfont man was arrested Thursday after pinning someone to the ground, punching them, and dragging them around the house, police said.
The Central Bucks Regional Police Department arrested John Nicholas Sellen, 37, after being called to a domestic dispute on Sherri Drive.
Someone at the home was injured, police said.
According to their account, Sellen pinned the person down and punched them several times in the head. Police said he was accused of then dragging the person around the house.
Sellen was not at the home when police arrived, so additional officers were dispatched to look for him.
Later, he pulled into the driveway and police took him into custody. He was charged with simple assault, harassment, and operating a vehicle while suspended.
Sellen was arraigned with bail set at 10 percent of $30,000, with restrictions. He was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
