CHARLOTTE, NC — A major crash Tuesday morning around 6 a.m. caused power lines to fall onto Wilkinson Blvd. near Morehead Street, according to Charlotte firefighters. The fire department asked for "extreme" caution as people navigate the area Tuesday morning. The department also reported a person was pinned in a vehicle after a multi-vehicle crash. Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment, according to Mecklenburg paramedics. Cleanup is expected to take some time.
