I spent 10 years in the military and I was and still am very proud of my country. I was always taught to respect the chain of command and never question the orders that were given. To openly question the President of the United States was could have you considered a conscientious objector. IN the case of Joe Biden, I am questioning everything. No man left behind, that is a statement Mr. Biden does not understand as he left Americans in Afghanistan stranded after the troop withdrawal. He nixes the deal on the Canadian pipeline and wiped out our energy independence. On the world stage the United States is a joke to every other country because of the current Geopolitical climate. As much as some hated President Trump, he could talk, and he didn’t take shit from anyone. Biden is so isolated by the White House that they all freak out if he decides to go off script. I could not serve in the current political climate. As a Veteran I have nothing but love and respect for my country, I always will but there is a point where we must all stand up and hold the politicians, we elected accountable for their failures to represent our interests, while supporting their own. Thomas Jefferson was quoted as saying “This Democracy shall not last 300 years”. At 244 years old, I am afraid for the future of this great nation. We are duty bound by the sacrifices of our forefathers, to stand up and takeback our country from the political whoremongers that inhabit our Congress and Senate. This Nation is in danger from radicals like AOC and her squad to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. This Country was founded as a Democracy, not Republican or Democrat but as a Democracy. When we allow politicians to go from serving us to trying to control us and strip away our rights while they enjoy life, We need to stand up and make our voices heard.
