FULL TIME - Must be able to work weekends! WED-SUN schedule Walter Andersen Nursery is a locally owned operated garden center, located in the Sports Arena / Midway area is seeking a full time parking lot attendant. Please note this is a customer service position - there is no parking of cars or collecting of payments. We follow guidelines set by the County in regards to COVID-19. The position includes (but is not limited to the following) duties; - Help direct traffic in parking lot - Point out open spots to customers - Check for traffic and help guide customers - Collect carts and return to front of nursery - Assist customers loading their car with plants - Monitor who is coming in and out of the parking lot on foot - Be attentive to activity in the parking lot - Must be comfortable approaching people and speaking to them - Be tolerant and easy going - On slower days you may be asked water, stock or help with plant material in the yard What we expect; - a good attitude - a friendly and outgoing personality - someone who enjoys working with a wide variety of people - someone who will show up and work as scheduled - be able to lift up to 50 lbs - has a clean/tidy appearance What you can expect; - a fun and friendly work place - to work outside year round - hot/cold - rain or shine! - full benefits package after probation periods that includes Health, Dental & Vision insurance, sick, holiday and vacation pay If interested APPLY in PERSON at 3642 Enterprise Street, San Diego, CA 92110 - ask for Olivia or JJ!
