DAVIDSON, NC — More than a quarter of the tickets issued to drivers last week were for expired tags and inspections, according to the Davidson Police Department.
Of the 26 tickets issued by Davidson police between Sept. 22 and Sept. 28, nine were for speeding, six were for seatbelt violations and seven for expired tags or vehicle inspections, according to the police blotter.
Four crimes were also reported to the police department, one of which was a vehicle break-in and theft reported on Jetton Street. There were no arrests made by DPD between Sept. 22 through Sept. 28.
