Gabe Stillman winner of Gibson Guitar Award is one of the most promising young blues talents on the scene today. On tour with Texas guitar slinger the great Anson Funderburgh. Not to be missed! Some exciting news has come our way and the timing could not be better. Being part of this very special tour with Gabe Stillman and Anson Funderburgh, starting on Monday in Buffalo and ending a week later in Rockland ME, you will be the first to share in this special celebration hosting two 2022 Blues Music Award nominees. Gabe is nominated in the New Emerging Artist category and Anson Funderburgh for guitar. When Gabe returned from Austin TX after recording his release "Just Say the Word" he was on cloud nine. One might think just because of the time, work, and effort invested for months prior he was simply enjoying the relief to finally have in the can. But the excitement of that session remains within Gabe months later, for what he really brought home were the memories of being in the presence of one of his personal guitar heroes, Anson Funderburgh. Gabe would tell stories of the fun they had getting to know each other and getting relaxed in the studio but more so the education he received from a great producer and an incredible musician. A special bond developed between the seasoned veteran with years of recording and touring and the young musician still finding his way with his first release. It seems only fitting that we learn both have received Blues Music Award nominations and are so pleased you can share in the celebration.
