DAVIDSON, NC — Three cases of financial identity fraud were reported in town during the past week, according to the Davidson Police Department blotter. The incidents were reported at Delburg Street, Kiser Corner Lane and Overleaf Lane. A dog bite was also reported recently on Avinger Lane, police said. There were no arrests made by DPD between Oct. 6 through Oct. 12. Nearly half of the 16 tickets issued by Davidson police between Oct. 6 through Oct. 12 were for speeding, three were for seatbelt violations and three for expired tags or vehicle inspections, according to the police blotter.
