Press release from the Town of Davidson: Posted on: December 11, 2020 Posted on: December 11, 2020 Davidson Launches COVID-19 Business Support Grant The Town of Davidson is pleased to announce the launch of the Davidson COVID Business Support Grant which the Davidson Board of Commissioners approved at their December 8 meeting. The board allocated $40,000 to support local businesses which have expenses directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants will be available for retail businesses located in Davidson's commercial districts beginning on December 11, 2020, and applications and grant guidelines can be found on the town's website at: www.townofdavidson.org//Covidbusinessgrant. Qualifying businesses can apply for up to $4,000 in grant funds to be used for COVID related items which help keep their businesses operating. Of the grant, Mayor Rusty Knox said, "Our businesses are a central part of our community. They have shown resilience during this pandemic but need help to operate safely this winter.
