Position: Janitor/Light Maintenance position for the Lovejoy Station and Pearl Court apartments, located in Downtown Portland. We are looking to add a member to our team who is thorough, efficient, and enjoys a positive work environment. This is a full time, 40-hour per week position, scheduled hours are Saturday- Wednesday 8:30 am- 5pm. Salary is $16.00-$19.00 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities: • Picking up grounds • Cleaning dumpster areas and parking lots • Cleaning common areas such as laundry rooms, windows, stairwells, hallways, etc. • Light Maintenance including: o Painting rooms o Using a carpet cleaner o Changing light bulbs o Changing batteries in smoke detectors Requirements: • One year of janitor & light maintenance experience preferred. • Knowledge of basic maintenance and/or preventative maintenance are preferred. • Exceptional time management skills • Strong communication and written skills We offer a competitive benefits package for full time employees including medical insurance, dental insurance, AFLAC supplemental insurance, a flexible spending medical savings account, and a 401k with company match.
