Let’s let music bring us together in a time when too many viewpoints are dividing us. Check us out at https://www.bassfitz.com/ And this is me: https://www.bassfitz.com/jamsession/ New Session - - -Feb. 22 We have a class starting for emerging musicians that want to blow the dust off of their instruments. Or, or always curious about how to get involved in playing blues, rock or to do improvisation. This is a FUN opportunity to get involved in playing with others and networking with other musicians. I am a long time resident of Vancouver and have been a musician and music teacher for, well, a long time. This is the time to finally do something for yourself. Don’t put it off much longer. Playing in a group with others makes it so much easier to learn when we are all sharing ideas! My teaching buddy and myself have been doing these classes for almost 10 years now. Many groups and long-term friendships have been created. Jam Session is also designed to get you to develop your solos from the instant you start improvising. You will be given step-by-step techniques to help your improvisation based upon a blues-based storytelling model that applies to all styles. Using a minimal number of techniques, you will improve your understanding in the the art of improvisation. Winter Classes $150 for 8 weeks once a week. Two hour classes 6:30 to 8:30 pm (that's about $19 a class) This covers 3 instructors that create a "house band" to help facilitate the class.( That's right. Crazy isn't it. ) Percussion He is a real rhythm Guru), keyboard/ vocals ( Amazing R and B Voice) and bass (bass player is also a multi instrumentalist). Big open space! Classes are small enough for a lot of individual instruction. Many bands have been formed throughout the years from former students. Let’s let music bring us together in a time when too many viewpoints are dividing us.
