Description: This is a great opportunity for someone in the Bethlehem, PA area who's looking to learn new skills and open to travel. This job requires NO prior industry experience outside of someone who MUST be willing to TRAVEL, show up, work hard, and learn. Everything will be taught. You will be working with a crew of 1-3, where you'll be learning from the foreman. The job will consist of prepping job sites (gas stations) for testing - set up testing and safety equipment, removal of manhole lids to get access to the underground storage tank. May have to drive a DOT regulated commercial motor vehicle at times. Looking for individuals that are mechanically inclined, not needed but would be helpful to know how to use basic drills and hand tools. Must be able to use basic technology like a computer and an Ipad. You'll be taught how to connect to the pump stations for interpreting basic codes and learning how to diagnose issues. You'll be working at commercial gas stations, so you'll be working under gas station coverings. Hours: Monday - Friday, working 40-60 hours a week with some Saturdays. This is a TRAVELING role, MUST be willing to travel within the Lehigh Valley area and surrounding states when needed. There WILL be out of town work where you will have to stay overnight. Pay: $17 an hour $25.5 an hour for Overtime $1000+ week with Overtime (50 hours a week) $50 per night for per diem + hotel's paid for by the client, each person gets their own room. Must Haves: Good work history (not jumping from job to job) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Knowledge of power tools and hand tools Drivers license and Clean driving record Willing to travel locally/regionally and work OT! Requirements: Drug Test Background Check DOT Physical (check to see if you can drive a commercial vehicle) required
