P/T Travelling Sewer/Stormwater work, no exp reqd

This is a PART TIME job with variable work load and most of the work requires travelling and overnights away from home. Starting pay is $18-$20/hour; travel hours are payed at your regular hourly wage and do not count towards OT; we cover lodging expenses and an extra $45 per overnight towards meals. We tend to work long days when on the road. New-hires will work under a supervisor until fully trained. We're a small company that performs various types of sewer and stormwater inspection and maintenance all over the country, but mostly up and down the west coast. We do flow monitoring, smoke testing and line cleaning among other things, so expect a wide variety of tasks that we will train you to do. We're based out of Kittitas, WA (which is near Ellensburg, WA) but will consider applicants from around Seattle or Olympia areas as well. Most often we spend a few days per week travelling from one job to the next and staying in hotels, and sometimes there is shop work to do here at 'home base.' Other times there may not be any work for up to a week or two. Occasionally we will have larger jobs out of state that may be a week or more long (these are rare). Preferably we're looking for an employee who wants a supplemental income as there may be periods of time (a week or two) where we don't have any work to do. As a compromise, we try to be as flexible with employee scheduling as our contracts allow. No experience required, but you must be able to: -be trained to use power tools -some heavy lifting -some distance walking -some long drives -work safely in confined spaces (we will certify new hires in Confined Space Entry) -ability to travel on relatively short notice -(not required) experience in both construction and with using a computer will be helpful, but are not required -(not required) experience specifically in wastewater or pipefitting may warrant a pay increase Must have: -valid driver's license -clean driving record -pass a background check to get on the military bases that we contract with Please email or text me with inquiries, applications or resumes.
