"The USA has been building up arms for over 2 years on the Ukraine border." No, it hasn't. It has been selling arms (fairly small quantities actually) to Ukraine because RUSSIA ILLEGALLY INVADED CRIMEA IN 2014. Ukraine has been trying to defend itself from further incursions. Putin is a mafia-don-like kleptocrat who has been ripping off his own people for decades---never working for anything but a government job but now one of the richest people in the world. Those old soviet states are easy marks for his organized crime syndicate if he can use them as puppets with his grifters in charge--some have let him walk right in because their corrupt leaders got a cut. Some have already been invaded. He wants more. Putin hates the notion of NATO not because it puts weapons in his borders (it barely changes anything militarily) but because NATO requires at least a reasonable facsimile of democracy and at least a reasonable attempt to root out government corruption...both of which cut into his potential profits and ability to run his crime syndicate. Carlson and the right-wing LOVE their dictators and ultra-authoritarian governments...hence are licking Putin's starfish and loving it. They are the same as the US psycho traitors like Ford, Lindberg, Browning, Bush et al who kissed another authoritarian leader's ass in middle-Europe 80-90 years ago.
