"Critical race theory is about the legal system and it’s [sic] policies.
You must mean critical thinking. And you are unable to do that. Right?"
Most of us could apparently read between the lines and understand the meaning behind the person's post. Not sure why it triggered you so badly as the point was quite good relative to the false belief system most on the right wing have about what CRT is.
But you are correct--CRT is an advanced law course taught ONLY in a couple of law schools around the country. The subject is how the law being used in biased ways (such as the Jim Cro laws or Plessy v. Ferguson) creates long-term systemic inequalities in the ways the law treats minorities and some others. It was NEVER taught in public K-12 schools. The issue is phony manufactured outrage which right-wing simpletons fell for hook, line, and sinker. They continue to fall for it due to the remarkable lack of education and propensity to believe bullshit which runs so deeply in that political spectrum.
As to the more simple teachings which do occur in public schools..like the fact that racist jack-wagons redlined loans causing people of color to acquire lower net worth on average than white folks or the fact that racist choads continue to impose biases in policing which cause more people of color to end up in jail than white folks though they commit roughly equivalent crimes in both quantity and severity: Just because your racism makes a fact unpleasant to you does not magically make it non-factual. Nor should it be hidden to appease your little snowflake racist sensibilities. Get over yourselves.
