Public Water Supply District #7 of Cass County, Mo. has a full time position opening for a Distribution Associate. This position will assist the Manager, Field and Facilities Manager and Water Plant personnel. Must have good communications skills and good public relations skills. Have a working knowledge of computers, Tablets, I-Pads. Must have and carry either an Android or Apple phone for monitoring the District remotely. It will require that this individual is willing to be on call 24-7-365 and rotate on call duties with 5 other individuals. Must live within a 35 minute drive of the District. Must have a working knowledge of installing water and sewer mains along with experience in operating light construction equipment and lawn care equipment. Be willing to acquire at least a Class E drivers license, This posoition will require getting licnesed in Water Operations, Distribution License and a Sewer license after training. Have a working knowledge of construction projects. This job requires that up to a 100 pounds of force and or lifting ability be applied. It is a dirty, cold, wet, muddy job on some occassions. Must have the skills to work a ditchline and do repairs and installations.
