Split Rock Supply Chain Solutions is hiring for a heavy duty diesel mechanic. This position is full time, and is 1st shift. Overtime is available here, opportunity to start at 50 hours and work up from there if desired. Job duties include general and preventive maintenance to be performed on class 8 trucks and trailers. Ability to perform computer diagnostic and troubleshooting on tractors and trailers. Electrical, engine, chassis, transmission, clutch and tire work are all job duties as well. An ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with heavy duty equipment, and experience with computer diagnostics or technical training. Working well in a team environment and keeping a neat/clean work area is a must. This is a fleet of Cummins engines - experience with computer diagnostics is a plus.
