Position Title: Assembly - 1st Shift Wage: $16/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri A growing company is looking to add to its growing team. We’re hiring for a 1st shift Assembly role in Springfield. Temp to hire. Nights and weekends off, great starting pay, great benefits, and positive work atmosphere. Apply today. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform routine production duties by following written processes to assemble engine components - Visually verify the quantifiable inspection of the final result of the assembly process - Paint and package finished goods - Maintain good housekeeping and neat work space, as well as follow all company safety guidelines - Report any issues to supervisors and participate in open book management principles - Mandatory overtime is required at times Requirements: - Lift up to 50lbs regularly - Use hands to the finger, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend while working - Stand and walk on concrete floor for up to 12 hours - Use hand, air, and power tools - Team work oriented - Strong attention to detail - Basic knowledge and understanding of engines - Use basic math to add and subtract numbers is essential - Basic computer knowledge - Good communication between coworkers and supervisors Benefits: Full benefits and ESOP once hired QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
