Job Title: Estate Gardener Location: Flowood Mississippi Job Description: A growing private estate in Brandon, Mississippi is currently seeking a full-time estate gardener. The Estate Gardener is responsible for day-to-day help in maintaining the gardens and grounds and reports directly to the Head Gardener. Duties and Responsibilities: -Perform garden tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning, mulching and planting. -Assist in the care and maintenance of all garden and turfed areas. -Building maintenance; changing light bulbs and air filters, cleaning exteriors, pressure washing, etc. Job Requirements: -Ability to work outside year-round in varying weather conditions. -Work from 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. -Working knowledge of landscape maintenance is a plus. -Ability to follow instructions and to take initiative; Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. -Experience operating and maintaining power equipment such as garden vehicles, tractors, lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, is a plus. -Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. -Must possess a valid driver’s license, be dependable, and have reliable transportation to and from work. -Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
