Why are liberals so dumb?

The vaccine farce, covid, public health idiots, inflation, high gas prices, food prices, high home prices/rent, homelessness, dirty streets, crime, open border, etc etc etc. What causes this liberal lunacy? drugs? mental health? stupidity? Is there a rational answer? I would really like an honest answer. Thanks
