Maintains efficient performance in cleaning of resident's condos and community common areas. Cares for and maintains all equipment and machines used in daily work. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. Incorporates the Generations' mission, vision, and values. JOB TASKS: Duties include, but not limited to the following: Responsible for cleaning and servicing resident's apartments Change linens in apartments as scheduled. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, wax, sanitize as needed and as scheduled. Empty garbage, change liners, pick up papers to remove from rooms. Cleans daily common areas, offices, restrooms, and elevators. Spot clean carpet as needed. Service apartments as they become vacant. Ensure efficient apartments turnover. Report all accidents or unsafe areas immediately. Report any safety hazards to supervisor. All other duties assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Workday 8 hours Stands often, up to 8 hours Sits occasional Walks often, short distances Bends occasional Stairs occasional, but not required Climbs seldom Kneels seldom Lifts often, 20lbs. maximum Repetitive hand/foot seldom WORKING CONDITIONS: Indoors with the potential to work in hot humid conditions in some resident apartments. Work with variety of staff. Interacts with the public, personnel, visitors, family members, and residents under all circumstances.
