Maintenance Technician

Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a hardwood company in the city of Orange. Payrate is ranging from $24-$28 hourly. Shift time will be 1:30pm-10:00pm and occasionally on Saturdays. Responsibilities: • Support change over set up to equipment such as blade or knife changes, height or width adjustments. • Take off machine covers to inspect condition and replace if necessary for drive chain/belts, bearings, pulleys and sprockets, shafts, conveyor belts, air cylinders and hoses. • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion • Estimate time and extent of repairs • Perform routine preventive maintenance • Maintain material and supply inventory • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary ​Qualifications: • Has experience with maintenance and industrial machinery. • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment • Ability to handle physical workload •Deadline and detail-oriented • Must be mechanically inclined.
