CORNELIUS, NC — A suspect wanted for a vehicle break-in and vehicle theft in Cornelius was arrested and charged after police located the vehicle — and clues inside it — in Huntersville. According to the Cornelius Police Department, the vehicle was reported stolen Sunday from Trenton Place Road in Cornelius. It was later found in 16000 block of West Catawba Avenue in Huntersville. Inside the vehicle, say police, were the suspect's fingerprints. "Cornelius Detective processed the vehicle for evidence and were able to locate fingerprints that were matched to a suspect identified as Jonathan Dean Cole," CPD said in a statement. Cole was arrested and charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and two counts of misdemeanor larceny.
