CORNELIUS, NC —There were 15 crime incidents reported in Cornelius this past week, including three stolen vehicles, two home break-ins and five cases of larceny. Cornelius police also made three arrests, including an 18-year-old man who was charged with stealing a vehicle, according to the police blotter. CPD officers issued 74 citations, of which about 45 percent were for speed-related offenses. Arrests made by Cornelius Police Department between Sept. 23 and Sept. 29, 2020: Michele Mace Cox, 29, arrested Sept. 24 at 19210 Carrington Club Drive, charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Jason Paul Folk, 33, arrested Sept. 26 at 17234 Poole Place, charged with tampering with a vehicle.
