Charlotte Water Announces Additional Customer Support for Financial Assistance
Pandemic assistance is available to Charlotte Water customers. Funding is available to help residents pay bills, but millions of dollars in resources will expire Dec. 31, 2020.
More than 55,000 customers have past due balances, and more than 26,320 households are over 30 days behind on paying their Charlotte Water Bills.
Charlotte Water strongly encourages customers who are facing hardship to contact the utility's Customer Care Team, a group of trained customer service professionals dedicated to work one-on-one with customers or reach out to one of the several local non-profits directly for financial assistance.
Customers can call 311 during business hours or visit charlottewater.org for more details.
