Victual Courier is a meal delivery service in the NYC metro area in need of part time drivers to be couriers in the following areas: NYC/Brooklyn* Westchester / Connecticut New Jersey Routes begin at 9pm and must be completed before 6am. This does NOT mean that you will be guaranteed an 9 hour shift; this is strictly the allotted delivery window. *NYC/Brooklyn also has a driver position open for 4:30am to 8:30am. Again, this is a delivery window and not a guarantee of hours. REQUIREMENTS: --Must have smartphone with active e-mail, texting, GPS, and the ability to run our courier application. --Must have your own vehicle --Must be a high school graduate or equivalent --Good communication and comprehension skills are a MUST COMPENSATION: --As a 1099 independent contractor your fuel is tax deductible and is eligible to be reimbursed by the government at the close of the tax year. --Mileage, vehicle depreciation and other vehicular expenses related to this job are also tax deductible for the tax year. --(If) Any tolls are required for the route assigned, they will be reimbursed with your payment. -- Total compensation is based on the number of boxes you are assigned to deliver. This number fluctuates based on the number of customer orders. However, if you are requested for a shift, you will be fairly compensated for your work and time. All routes and proposed compensation are discussed and you can choose to accept or decline as you see fit.
