** $30 required adoption fee to ensure she goes to a good home. ** Io was born to Jupiter, a rescue rabbit found in the wilds of Maine in December. Just two days after getting her inside, Jupiter gave birth to a litter of eight kits! We are happy to report that all of the kits are happy and healthy, including young Io, who is the last of the litter in need of a permanent home! FACTS: - Io is only 10 weeks old, so has not yet been spayed or neutered (agreeing to do so is a requirement of adoption). - Mom is likely a Checkered Giant mix, so she will get to be about the size of a cat! - We are fairly sure she is female, but she might be male. Unless someone adopts her before 2/24, we have a standing vet appointment to confirm her sex. FUN: - Despite her spunky attitude, Io is a sweetheart and very social. She'll jump into your lap for treats and is a big explorer. She also surprises us by being one of the easiest bunnies to handle. I love her intelligence and boldness. She would likely do well with a bunny partner after she is spayed!
