Long ago in these mountains, public services were scarce, so the sheriff helped with everything from feeding the hungry to providing mental health services to busting up moonshine stills and investigating crimes. Our building is part hotel, part art installation, meant to immerse guests into Appalachia. After 5 years of extensive renovation, we launched in April 2021. The four suites and two bunkrooms are a great way for guests from near and far to experience Marshall in an authentic, interesting and memorable way.
