2yr old male, in tact, Cairn Terrier (Toto from the wizard of Oz) needs re~homing. To a good/serious family only, I need to check home. ‘Scamp’ is a great dog, potty trained, comes when called, loves all people, dogs big/small, cats, horses, kids, NOT YAPPY or SCARED, also not aggressive, very well balanced young dog, aprox 4 lbs. I started working 12 hr shifts and live in the country and it is not safe for me to leave him unsupervised outside for such long periods of time in all sorts of temperature so unfortunately I’m needing to rehome him. He is a great dog,, he needs a very active family,, he likes to be a lapdog but only at night other than that he wants to play with big dogs small dogs children go for long walks he’s very active lots of energy (not hyper) very happy and curious, very smart and attaches to people, can not be an outside/backyard dog. I want to make sure he goes to the right home because of his personality and his energy needs he could really play all day long I take him when I ride my horse and he can run for hours chasing out rabbit and such he’s a very high energy dog that loves to snuggle at night. It would not be good for an inactive person or somebody who does not have other dogs and our children so that he has something to do constantly he is not destructive, does not chew anything up and is very well behaved and just has a lot of energy and loves to play. He loves to ‘go’ and will ‘load~up’ with the best hunting dogs and ‘work’ all day. He’s up-to-date on all of his shots and heartworm. Needs very little grooming and bathing due to his dual coat.
