Full time/Monday-Friday, Driving to customer facilities. There is a possibility of an occasional overnight. There is also a full week, Mon thru Fri, at a customer’s facility a couple of times a year (but home for weekends). *Duties:* Calibration of Granite Surface Plates at customers location. *Skills:* • Excellent driving record with a valid drivers license • Physical aspects of lifting/moving up to 100 lbs repeatedly throughout the course of the day *NOTE: Please be aware that this is a very physical technician position! • Ensure that the Quality System is adhered to at all times, • Provide calibration results and reports that re accurate and verifiable, • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work Independently • Work one-on-one with the customer, upholding irreproachable level of integrity and professionalism, • Basic Computer Skills • Close attention to detail, excellent with manipulating numbers/basic math skills, • Excellent eye-hand coordination, good eyesight (working with small objects/numbers), *Required:* High School Diploma, U.S. Citizen, Valid Driver’s License with Clean Record, basic computer skills. *Knowledge that would be desirable but not required:* • Knowledge of ISO 17025, Quality Standards, • Previous calibration experience, Familiarity with Linear Measuring Tools a huge plus. We are a small, family owned company. Relaxed atmosphere. Employee will be full time, day shift/Monday-Friday, with a possibility of an occasional overnight weekday travel (no weekends).
