Press release from The City of Saline: Recycling paused the week of May 25th The Material Recovery Facility that processes our recyclables will be shut down for necessary equipment upgrades and maintenance from May 23rd to June 1st. Waste Management cannot transport recyclables to the MRF during this time. Any recyclables collected on May 28th and 29th will be landfilled. Currently no other collection dates are affected by this shutdown. You will need to hold your recyclables until June 11th or 12th if May 28th or 29th are your regularly scheduled collection days and you do not want them landfilled.
