We are a high-end RV Manufacturer in Nokomis, FL looking for a qualified aluminum welder to join our team. We have been in business for 36 years, all of which we have been family owned and operated. We build both Class-C and Class-B motorhomes on a variety of Ford and Mercedes cutaway chassis. Everything from fiberglass body fabrication, frame extensions, cabinet building, upholstery, and even our exterior coach painting is done here on premises. We start the build with a simple cab/chassis and the first step in the build process is extending the frame and building an aluminum tube floor frame. It is in this area we are looking to expand our crew. The job will consist primarily of mig welding aluminum tube floor frames and steel frame rail extensions. We have templates/jigs and engineering drawings to follow for each of the various models and floorplans. Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for: -Ordering materials for upcoming jobs through our purchasing department -Following the provided cut-list to cut raw materials necessary to complete the given job -Laying out the materials on the floor frame template -360 welding each piece of the frame with the use of our provided Miller 251 Mig Welders -Quality checking each frame for accuracy -Undercoating each completed floor frame There may be some other items here and there that may need to be welded throughout the work day, but 95% of the job is as stated above. All tools and person protective equipment will be provided. Applicant must have extensive welding experience, be able to quickly and accurately read a tape measure, be able to accurately read blue prints/engineering drawings, and must be able to operate a standard mig gun and aluminum spool gun. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am till 3:30pm with a 1/2 hour lunch from 11:30 till 12:00pm. Pay will be hourly and depend on applicant's prior experience.
