I am preparing a 6-acre property in Volente (near the intersection of FM 2769 and Bullick Hollow) for sale. I already have a crew working on both the house and the property, but am looking for someone to help with various projects, including landscaping, wood chipping, moving furniture, etc. We have already cleared a significant amount of brush, so I need someone who will help my crew load trees into a chipper and spread the mulch. I also have other projects such as digging out raised beds in my 1,100 sq. ft. garden and re-mulching the paths in between. Also, I need someone to clean out several rock beds that will require removing the rocks, getting rid of all weeds, replacing the weed block, and then replacing the rocks. Obviously, anyone applying for this position must be able to lift heavy branches and able to work doing this type of labor for at least 6 hours a day. The pay is a firm $18/hr (please do not apply asking for more money) and will be paid in CASH at the end of every two days. I will run a background check, but I will consider someone with certain infractions, depending on what those are, length of time since the offense, and references. The most important things are that the person be honest and hardworking.
