This is your opportunity to learn about your local law enforcement. Hear about the new Legislative changes and ask questions. We are holding the “Bridging the Gap” class March 7th and still have room for additional people to attend. Class starts tonight at 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Walla Walla Police Department community room. You can sign up for this class on Eventbrite.com for free. Bridging the Gap is a program that will focus on providing current information on the challenges of law enforcement, the changes in law enforcement, and showing the public what Officers face day in and day out on the streets. Many people don’t get factual information about the things that occur every day on the streets within their community that involve their officers. It is time Police departments start communicating face to face with the public and share their message, and above all, educate the public on how and why law enforcement does the things they do. It is time to have two-way conversations about the issues in Law Enforcement today. This class for the past several months has been very successful with great discussion and interaction. Please come join us and allow us to show you what our police departments are currently doing.
