We are looking for a full-time Delivery Helper. Working hours are usually Monday- Friday with some Saturdays. What You Will Do
 Delivery Helper local furniture company, pulling, prepping and inspecting furniture for delivery, load and unloading trucks, setting up furniture in customer’s homes, and having good customer service skills. Honesty, integrity, good character and strong work ethic are required as are excellent written and spoken communication skills. Experience with a moving company and preparing furniture for delivery is a big plus.
 
Skills and Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift heavy furniture repeatedly through the course of the day without assistance; and maneuver and lift up to 225 lbs. 
 -Ability to operate material handling equipment.
 -Continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching in a warehouse environment.
 -Have a clean driving record, and have experience driving delivery trucks.
 -Ability to identify items on all paperwork including, but not limited to: customer orders and labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bill of ladings as needed.
 -Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
 -Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed and/or required.
 -Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
-Must be authorized to work in the United States.
 -Qualified candidates must pass a drug test and a background check. Team player and good communication skills Willingness and desire to learn and expand job functions Ability to change priorities based on needs Operating forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, hand tools equipment experiences preferred Able to lift lbs., unassisted, moving furniture in showroom, warehouse and onto trucks.. MUST: Have a valid state issued driver’s license. Be 18 years or older. Submit to the following prior to employment: Pre-employment drug screening Background check Continuous standing, lifting, bending and twisting Comfortable at heights up to 25’ Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED, 1-2 years successful work experience, in a warehouse environment. Working Conditions Read and understand assembly instructions, shipping and receiving paperwork. Regular standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping. Exposure to external weather, heat and cold. Exposure to noise and moving machinery. Some office setting using standard office equipment, seated at computer, keyboard monitor and phone. Working hours can include weekends and holidays so it will require flexibility.
