Have you ever wanted to try a bunch of different yarns, hooks, and needles just to see what they were like? Here's your chance! Our kickoff For Ewe event will be Yarnie Happy Hour -- a yarn, needle, and hook bar and communal knit/crochet. We will have stations set up to try all of the yarn bases from the Kelbourne Woolens line: Andorra, Camper, Germantown, Germantown Bulky, Lucky Tweed, Mojave, Perennial, and Scout. We will also have needles and hooks of different sizes for you to use on site. If you find some things you like and you just gotta have 'em, we're ready for that too! Kits and single skeins will be here for you just in case you fall in love! There will be chairs and sofas set up for socially distanced community knittting and crocheting, so bring a project and join in the fun. There will be light refreshments available. Masks are required. Parking is available. Please come, enjoy, and support For Ewe: An Inclusive Fiber Community. Admission is by donation, whatever you are able to give. Bring a friend or two -- the more the merrier!
