As dental insurance regulations were on the rise and reimbursements were drastically decreasing, my practice recognized the need to position we in a way to remain successful amidst all the changes. Our solution was to offer an in- office membership program to retain and open our doors to patients without or frustrated with dental insurance and in need of high-quality dental care. We started an in-office membership program called Smile Advantage. I am now the program director of Smile Advantage, a nation-wide company working with hundreds of dental practices. Smile Advantage is an industry leader in custom, in-office membership programs. Our team of dental professionals truly understand the dental market and can help educate and train today's dental practice on how to design an effective membership program, offering a commonsense alternative to dental insurance for patients and providers. The American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM) is an organization of professional office managers, practice administrators, patient coordinators, insurance and financial coordinators, and treatment coordinators of general and specialized dental practices.
