Gaby’s Rev’d Ride— Boston Marathon Fundraiser for Autism

Join me for a 45 minute spin sweat sesh for my Boston Marathon fundraiser, the Flutie Foundation for Autism! I am amped to be running the Boston Marathon to raise funds for the Flutie Foundation for Autism. I consider this a great challenge, but also a tremendous privilege. I am running for my younger brother, Jake, who was diagnosed when he was 3 years old. We moved halfway across the world from Tokyo, Japan to Fort Wayne, Indiana, and we are incredibly grateful to have had access to services and programs in the Fort Wayne community to support Jake on his journey. In the process my mom, Pam, started a non-profit called Autism Community Together, ACT, to support people and families like ours live life to the fullest. This is why foundations like the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation are so important to our community, so that more individuals and families can access services and programs to help them succeed despite circumstances. Your donation will continue to improve the daily lives of people and families like ours with direct financial support. Jake is tracking the dollars by the day… Mr. Money Man. Jake is now 22– graduated Homestead High School, started college at Purdue University Fort Wayne, and got his first job working at his favorite place, Pizza Hut. Being apart now, we often FaceTime about the woes of life and something we often say is if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you. I hope to show Jake exactly this on Monday, April 18th.
