Feed The People is an interactive exhibit highlighting stories from the people and places working to bring food security to our communities.
What does it take to keep everyone in New Orleans fed?
The Lede New Orleans Community Reporting Fellows explored the question this fall, learning about food access issues in our city and interviewing people working on solutions, from a food bank chef to urban agriculture advocates and families living with food insecurity.
Join us for opening night of "Feed The People," an interactive exhibit showcasing the fellows' original work. Come meet the fellows, interact with their work, enjoy food and drinks, and engage in a conversation exploring what food security means in New Orleans and how we can play a part in keeping our neighbors fed.
After our opening kickoff, the week-long exhibit will be open to the public at the Axiom Art Gallery on Freret Street.
