University of Louisville Cultural Center 2022 Graduation Celebration The Graduation Celebration is an annual event to pay homage to the past, while celebrating the future and endless possibilities of all graduating underrepresented students at the University of Louisville. This year's celebration will feature a keynote speaker, music, a special message from the Vice President for Diversity and individual recognition. Summer 2022 and December 2022 graduates are encourage to attend. Graduates are welcome to invite friends and family to the event. Kente Cloth/Graduation Sash & Special Gift Distribution In celebration of your journey to graduation, the Cultural Center will be distributing FREE Kente cloths, Serapes, and graduation sashes to graduates. All items will be distributed on a  first-come, first-serve basis and this registration closes at 11:59pm Friday May 8, 2022. You may pick up your Kente cloth, Serape or graduation sash beginning on Tuesday All students who are unable to attend the Graduation Celebration and request a Kente cloth, Serape or graduation sash can pick up their item at the Cultural and Equity Center (120 E. Brandeis) from 9am to 5pm on Friday May 13, 2022. You can also view pictures from past events here.
