2022 3rd-Year (Re)orientation for SocPop PhD Students!
Dear 3rd-Year PhD Students,
The Graduate Division invites you to the 2022 3rd-Year (Re)orientation for Social & Population Sciences Sciences PhD Students!
Your attendance at this event is mandatory for 3rd year students, and all graduate programs are releasing you to participate. Fourth year students are invited to join as well if they were not able to previously attend last year.
As a 3rd-year student you are moving into a new phase of your PhD, increasingly focused on independent research, career exploration, and changing dynamics in your working relationships.
At the re-orientation, you will:
Learn how to develop a network of support as an advanced graduate student, including how to cultivate relationships with mentors, sponsors, and advisors. Learn how to navigate and prepare for their post-graduation career options. Become reacquainted with UCSF resources available to graduate students. Please register no later than March 11th, 2022.
Questions may be addressed to your program administrator or Carlos Martinez, Rosenberg Hill Fellow ([email protected]). We look forward to seeing you there!
The Graduate Division is the home of graduate education and postdoctoral scholarship at UCSF.
