Classic country cover band looking for drummer

We are an actively gigging band with shows every Friday and Saturday night around the Front Range plus occasional Thursdays and Sundays. Our previous full-time drummer moved away and we have been getting by on subs but would like to solidify this position again. You don’t have to take all the gigs but an eager candidate could claim as many as they wanted. No touring or delusions of grandeur about major label deals. Play some covers and sleep in your own bed at night. Our best fits to date have either been jazz guys with the chops and discipline to chart out the songs or long-time fans of the genre who have these songs ingrained in their DNA. If you just look at this music as “easy” and figure you can fake your way through it we won’t be a good match. Repertoire heavy on Yoakam/Strait/Haggard/Jennings/Jones/Jackson/Cash/Owens sprinkled in with cuts by modern traditionalists like Jon Pardi and Midland. We do not play any rock, pop or bro country. Most shows are 4 hours long (roughly 50 songs over three sets) and pay each member $125-$200— yes we split tips! There are also private events that pay in the $300-$400 realm. We do not practice. Learn the setlist at home and play them like the record and you’ll be fine. We do our best to recreate iconic intros and solos. The band members are all passionate country fans and are serious about performing while maintaining a fun and congenial vibe on and offstage. We like some style, stage presence and energy but not necessarily Sons Of Anarchy cosplay. Under 60 years old preferred and absolutely no chemical or political extremists.
