Paint & Sip: Mardi Gras 2022 Canvas Night Hosted by the Student Life Activities Committee: Paint & Sip: Mardi Gras 2022 Canvas Night will take place on two nights: Tuesday, February 15 and Wednesday, February 16 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Clay Cup Studios. The event will cost $20 per person and includes your canvas and paint. Clay Cup Studios is a BYOB friendly establishment, so bring your favorite bottle of wine to sip while you paint! You must provide a valid state-issued ID at the door if you plan on consuming alcohol. Seats are limited. Tickets will go on sale on January 21st at 9:00 AM. Tickets are limited to one per student. We will be painting the same painting both nights, so please only register for ONE NIGHT. Once you secure an eventbrite ticket, you MUST stop by the Office of Student Life on the second floor of Jamail (Office 2.134) to pay for you ticket by Thursday, February 8th at 5:00 PM. At this time, we can only accept cash or check (made out to UTMB Office of Student Life). The Eventbrite ticket is NOT a ticket for a seat, it will only secure you the option to purchase a ticket from the Office of Student Life. Any tickets not purchased by the 8th will be offered to the student next on the waitlist. If available, tickets will be released to those on the waitlist on February 9th. Please note that the occurance of the event is contengent upon the University's COVID Protocols. Should the Paint & Sip be required to cancel, all students who have paid will recieve a refund. Refunds will be availible for pick up, up to the final date of the event, February 16, 2022, after which the funds remaining will be considered donations to future events of the Office of Student Life. This event is open to current UTMB students only. Can I register for a ticket if I am under 21 years old? Yes! Every current UTMB student is welcome at the event. Those over 21 must show a valid ID at the door if they plan on consumming alcohol. Is the Eventbrite ticket my ticket for the actual event? No - The Eventbrite registration simply reserves you the ability to purchase a seat from the Office of Student Life. Is there a cost to sign up for the Eventbrite ticket/registration? No - There is no cost to register for the opportunity to purchase an seat. The only cost will be purchasing the seat should you secure a spot. Where will I pay for my seat for the event once I secure a spot? You can pay for your seat in the Office of Student Life on the second floor of the Jamail Student Center. When can I purchase my seat? You can pay for your seat as soon you register for a ticket on Eventbrite. The payment is due by Thursday February 8th at 5:00 PM. At that time, remainig seats will be made availble to those on the waitlist. What are my payment options? We are able to accept cash or checks only. Checks can be made out to UTMB Student Life.
