Honoring Chief Master Sergeant Robert L. Disney, Jr. Robert Disney was born and raised in Central Illinois. He attended most of his school years in Mt Zion before graduating from Bethany High School in 1994. During his distinguished 21-year career as an Air Force Pararescue man (PJ), Robert survived multiple near-death experiences including helicopter crashes and an AK-47 gunshot wound to the face. Despite his injuries, Robert achieved the highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant in one of the most elite Special Operations career fields in the Department of Defense. At the pinnacle of his career, he had the honor of leading all Air Force Combat Search and Rescue personnel serving in Iraq and Syria. Robert completed his bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and his master’s degree in Cybersecurity. Robert retired in 2017 to a mountaintop cabin in Colorado before moving back home to Illinois in 2020 where he now lives with his wife and three children. Today, Robert is an avid musician, actor, public speaker, and cybersecurity specialist. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm.
