California LULAC's 73rd Annual State Convention on April 29, 2022- May 1st, 2022
This year’s event, themed as “Building Stronger Communities”, will feature workshops integral to the mission of the league and the Latino/a community. The conference serves as an opportunity for us to educate the Latino/a community on key public policy issues including education, diversity, legislation, health, and other subjects. LULAC members and the public will have an opportunity to discuss issues important to our community. These workshops are open to the public for free. Our paid events will be the four key events mentioned below.
Attendees will hear from legislators, members of Congress, and key opinion leaders as they share perspectives on these key issues. In addition to the scheduled seminar sessions, there are four key events that will be held during the Conference:
1. Honoring our Veterans Luncheon on April 29, 2022 at 12:00 pm
2. Youth and Young Adult Breakfast on April 30, 2022 at 8:00 am
3. Empowering our Women Luncheon on April 30, 2022 at 12:00 pm
4. California LULAC Recognition Awards Gala on April 30, 2022 at 7:00 pm
LULAC is the largest and oldest Hispanic Organization in the United States. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 1,000 LULAC councils nationwide. The organization involves and serves all Hispanic nationality group.
