A diverse panel of women who will discuss their hair journeys and the role and impact of natural hair in multiple areas of their lives. This event is a part of the DPS CROWN Act Week initiative which was established to illuminate, affirm and amplify the diversity of natural hair in the Black community. This in-person event, which will be held at Hillside HS, will feature a diverse panel of women from the Durham community to discuss their own hair journeys and the role of natural hair in their personal, professional, and academic lives, as women of color.
