New York based brass quartet, The Westerlies, present a genre-bending concert
Southern Exposure Presents: "Wherein Lies the Good" featuring The WesterliesUniversity of South Carolina - School of Music Recital HallFriday, February 18, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. The Westerlies, originally from Seattle and now based in New York, are an idiosyncratic brass quartet whose performances freely mix “ideas from jazz, contemporary classical, and Appalachian folk music” (New York Times). The genre-bending ensemble has performed in concert halls (and living rooms) across the world, produced three critically-acclaimed albums, and been featured with the band Fleet Foxes.
In-person attendance is limited. This concert will be live-streamed.

Parking and AccessibilityThe Discovery Plaza Garage is located at 851 Park Street, behind the School of Music, and offers hourly parking. Metered parking is also available on the streets surrounding the School of Music.
The Recital Hall is located on the second floor and elevators are located past the lobby.
