Safety Morning is a program designed for citrus and other agricultural pesticide handlers and workers.
The Safety Morning program provides the required annual Worker Protection Standard training for pesticide handlers. English and Spanish sessions will be available. Participants will be mailed a certificate of training and individual trainer cards after completion of the program. During the program, presentations will be given on other important safety topics when working in the grove which will include:
Equipment Safety
First Aid and Heat Stress
Personal Protective Equipment
Environmental Hazards
Decontamination of Pests and Diseases
Time: 7:30am Check-in, Program 8:00am -12:00pm
Location: Turner Agri-Civic Center, Arcadia
CEUs for Restricted Use Pesticide license holders and Certified Crop Advisors have been requested, approval is pending.
