TAMPA, FL — AT&T employees recently delivered 100 Robotic STEM kits to Tampa Police Department's RICH House (Resources In Community Hope House Program). The program serves as a safe haven for kids in the city's most economically challenged areas.
Members of AT&T Pioneers in Tampa and other locations recently put together hundreds of backpacks with STEM-inspired activities, including a robotic kit and programming lessons. The backpacks also included school supplies and personal cards of encouragement from the volunteers packing the kits.
AT&T Pioneers is a network of AT&T volunteers committed to serving local communities, and one of more than 30 AT&T employee groups dedicated to community service and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion.
